Fear is one of the most common emotions that affect behaviour - it stops people from saying and doing what they want.
There are two types of fear:
Fear that keeps me from getting killed. This is an instinct that keeps you from physical harm. For example, stepping in front of a moving car.
Fear that comes from the same place but is an illusion - we are afraid of things that actually cannot harm us. For example public speaking.
