My journey to where I am today started during my first year of law school, where I became interested in social processes. This interest led me to politics, and at the young age of 23, I became one of the founders of the Latvian People's Party, which was the largest party in the country at that time.
I spent over 10 years serving my country as a politician and high-level civil servant, where I was in charge of various organizations and ministries. I also served as a mediator between politics and business for various financial industries as lobbyist. During the last 7 years I spent most of my time in non-executive roles in big state-owned or private companies.
My experience in working with many teams, stakeholders, politicians, and international organizations helped me recognize my biggest passion and talent - inspiring and supporting other talents. From the teams that I led, many new leaders emerged who went on to serve as leaders of ministries, big state-owned companies, or even the European Commission.
Today, I am a mentor in organizations like Cocoon, Seedstar, and Junior Achievement of Latvia. I am also an investor in companies like Commercialization Reactor Fund and Monetizr, and a co-founder of Tvigy. I find joy in watching both organizations and people grow and flourish.
My vision is to serve as a leader's potential opener. I see my path as supporting organizations and people who have the energy and passion to build a better future for us in the Baltics and globally. Like a gardener who is passionate about seeing how plants grow, I too enjoy observing the growth and progress in both organizations and people. Being a valuable support as high-quality fertilizer for leaders and young people fulfills me with a sense of purpose.
What do you do today?
I'm a Professional Board Member (5 active assignments, like Delfingroup, listed in Baltic Nasdaq Stock Exchange, BA School of Business and Finance), Mentor (Cocoon, Seedstar and Junior Achievement of Latvia), Investor (Commercialization reactor Fund, Monetizr) and Co-Founder (Tvigy)
How did you get there?
Already from first year in University where I studied law I was really interested in Social processes. So my interest in government of society took me into the politics already when I was 23 years old And was one of the founders of Latvian People's Party at that time the biggest party in country. They're my journey to lead big teams began.
I served to my country more than 10 years as politician and high level civil servant, being in charge of various organizations and Ministries. I used to serve as mediator between politics and business for various Financial Industries. In later period most of my time I spend for non-executive roles in big state owned or private companies.
All this experience with many teams, stakeholders, politicians, International organizations allowed me to recognize my biggest passion and Talent - to inspire and support other talents.
From the teams that I was leading Came out many new leaders who some years later already served as Leaders of Ministries, big state
companies or even the European Commission.
Why do you do what you do today?
Gardener is passionate to see how plants are growing. I like to observe growth and progress in both in organizations and in people.
This feeling of being valuable support as high quality fertilizer for leaders and young people fulfills me with awareness of purpose.

So there I see my path to support organizations and people who have energy and passion to build better future for us in Baltics and globally.
